Art is my passion!

For as far back as I can remember, I have created art. Even as a little girl, growing up in Germany, I would spend much time on those school projects which gave me the freedom to incorporate art. Immigrating to the U.S. in the seventies and starting middle school here came with language and cultural challenges. My love for art just continued to grow and I knew, at that time that art, of some sort, would be what I would pursue in my future.

After graduating from Moore College of Art and Design, in Philadelphia PA, I worked as a graphic artist at the National Wildlife Federation in Vienna, Virginia. Even after leaving that job to raise my two amazing daughters, I never stopped creating. Over the years I have participated in many local art exhibits, worked as a mural artist, a floral designer and most recently, as a Live Event Painter.

Working with flowers for the past 8 years, mainly designing weddings, has been a fulfilling and wonderful experience. Being surrounded each day by the beauty of flowers, the endless varieties and infinite color palettes has been and continues to be an educational and up-lifting experience!

As a visual artist, having added LIVE WEDDING PAINTING to my floral design work, 4 years ago, has given me the ultimate combination of two creative outlets!

Although life can be filled with uncertainties, I am certain that I will always choose the creative path when it comes to my personal life and work, whether it is with paint, or flowers. Heck, I even like playing with power tools in my spare time!
